Terms of Use
The ground rules for using Nearto safely and respectfully during the external beta.
Effective date
28 August 2026. These terms cover the controlled Nearto external beta.
Beta service
Features may change and the service may be interrupted. Push notifications, third-party sign-in, and continuous live location sharing are not offered in this build.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, protect your password, and do not share access credentials. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Acceptable use
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, exploit, or endanger others; publish unlawful content; or attempt to bypass authentication, privacy, moderation, or rate limits.
Content and safety
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Nearto permission to store and display it to operate the service. You must have permission to upload an event cover or link an event website and to present its public preview image. Nearto may restrict content or accounts when needed for safety, rights complaints, legal compliance, or service integrity.
Meetups
Use judgment when meeting others. Choose public places, tell someone you trust, and leave or report any unsafe situation. Nearto does not guarantee another user identity or conduct.
Ending use
You may delete your account at any time from Account & privacy. Nearto may suspend beta access for violations or security risk.
